Hi, I'm Alex

After graduating from Lincoln University (2008) with a BA (Hons) in Games Design I went straight to a creative agency, which specialised in exhibition design for large Pharmaceutical corporations. From my knowledge of Flash design and background in the gaming industry I helped concept, design and develop bespoke mini-games for delagates to engage with on each exhibition stand. These were mainly educational games but with some added competitive elements to attract a buzz within the audience; involving an aspect of fun to what would be a heavily corporate brand.

Taking the plunge and setting my sights on central London in 2010, I moved on to a production agency which came with a huge learning curve. Forgetting what I thought I knew about Flash design and rethinking my approach to adapt from large bespoke files into nanoscopic online formats came easy to me. By the time I had left in 2014 I had broadened my knowledge of the entire Adobe suite as well as an extensive amount of insight into the advertising industry and had been promoted three times.

Since 2014 I have been fortunate enough to work for the legendary creative agency Saatchi & Saatchi. During this time I have gained even more knowledge of the creative process and added further professional attributes to my skillset. I have worked across a vast amount of brands and have been part of groundbreaking campaigns and agency wins. My awareness of many creative guidelines for these brands helps me innovate and grow my ideas into better creative concepts which, in turn, get me recognised and sets me apart from the rest.
